WSKO Halloween Party 2015

On Friday 30th October 2015 we held our first WSKO Halloween Party. It took place at the Old Pub in Clydach Vale. The hall had been donated to us for the evening by Carys Jones’s (Ystrad) family.

The evening got off to a good start with all the children arriving in their Halloween costumes with some of the adults also making the effort. There were lots of scary people out that night!

As the music played Gabrielle Sibley and Rachel Pugh kept the youngsters occupied all night by playing several party games for prizes.

There was a carved pumpkin competition and the winner was one very excited Daniel Rees.

Guess the weight of the cake proved popular amongst the adults with Sensei Jason picking the cake up so many times that we all lost count. The winner of the cake was Emma Evans with a spot on guess of 6lb 6oz.

Sensei Gerwyn brought some stick on tattoos and this proved very popular with the children and kept him busy for a good while.

As always the children were well behaved, which is not what can be said for some of the adults, I’m sure there were a few heavy heads the following day.

As the night began to fade, the children and Sensei Jason were given a sweet bag and everyone headed home.
